The rental company in question had been renting out construction machinery from several branches for years. However, behind the scenes, their software was reaching its limits. They were about to partner with a foreign supplier until we stepped in. With our sector knowledge, Microsoft base, and proprietary rental apps, we demonstrated that there was a different and better way.

From outdated tool to innovative vision

In 2008, the company was at a tipping point. The company had outgrown its existing software. The package was outdated, no longer supported, and too limited for the reality of the rental sector. Just when they wanted to switch to a foreign supplier, Offimac came into the picture.

With flexible pricing, transport, delivery, automatic invoicing… And all of that built on the familiar Microsoft Business Central. That immediately inspired confidence.

We organized workshops, analyzed their processes, and mapped their operations down to the smallest detail. Based on this, we put together a mix of:

From pricing and contracts to planning, logistics, invoicing, service, accounting, and the cash registers in the branches: everything runs today in one integrated system. We also provide the necessary helpdesk support, consultancy, and training, because a digital solution is only strong if all employees can work well with it.

Up-to-date into the future

Today, we are working with the company on a thorough upgrade. They are switching to a new version of Microsoft Business Central, with Offimac apps that form the heart of their operational functioning.

This time, the upgrade project was no longer a long search, but a targeted exercise. We know the organization inside and out, and much of their former customization has since been built into our apps as standard. That means less maintenance and less risk, but above all, more certainty heading into the future.

With an up-to-date platform, frequent support via helpdesk, and a team that speaks the language of their sector, the company is once again firmly in the saddle.
